She provides complete planning, consulting and coordination services for corporate, weddings and private functions, using her experience and decorating skills to create unique events that reflect her clients’ vision of their special occasion.
With 37 years of experience in the corporate offices of engineering, telecommunications, sales and entertainment industries, Mary-Anne has developed the organizational skills, design experience and the creative ability to satisfy the most particular requirements while working within budget and schedule constraints. For the last 12 years, Mary-Anne had sole responsibility for planning memorable staff events in Halifax. She is supported by a team that is experienced, efficient and reliable.
After leaving the corporate world to establish Grand Central, Mary-Anne was retained to decorate for significant dinners for Eastlink, CUCCOA and for The Red Cross. She has also worked on elaborate weddings in a variety of venues ranging from large farm locations (involving yard, tent and barn decoration) through smaller intimate venues in Halifax churches, hotels and restaurants.
All of these events have reflected her passion for excellence and her delight at being entrusted with the responsibility to make every wedding and corporate event a totally unforgettable experience for all.
Over the years Mary-Anne has developed an extensive database of suppliers and service providers who share her vision and on whom she can depend to provide quality work and services. Whether you need to find a venue, or arrange audio/visual, DJ services, flowers, photography, catering, specialty items or perhaps you just need a few of these services, Mary-Anne can coordinate and manage your needs.
Mary-Anne operates from her home office in Indian Harbour and has a very extensive inventory of decorating supplies located in downtown Halifax. She can therefore respond to urban and rural venues alike.
